Reid is a graduate of North Carolina State University and Emory University School of Law. During law school, Reid worked for a United States District Court judge as well as an administrative hearings judge for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She also gained significant experience working at two civil litigation firms in Atlanta. Prior to joining Burke Moore in 2022, Reid was an associate at Drew, Eckl & Farnham and practiced in the field of general liability.

Reid is currently an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association Litigation Section, the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association (GDLA), and the Defense Research Institute (DRI), a prominent national membership organization for civil defense attorneys, in-house counsel, and insurance companies.
